The Waves HY128 is a dedicated HY-slot card that enables Yamaha RIVAGE PM series consoles to run Waves plugins at ultra-low latency. With this card installed, you can integrate Waves’ award-winning reverbs, equalizers, compressors, limiters, delays, maximizers, imagers, and other effects directly into your live mixes, elevating the sonic quality and flexibility of your productions.
When paired with a Mac or PC running SuperRack, a SoundGrid DSP server, and authorized Waves plugins, the WSG-HY128 allows real-time processing of up to 128 channels. This setup also supports synchronization of multiple consoles, enabling complex, multi-console environments for front-of-house, broadcast, and monitor applications.
The card supports sample rates of 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96 kHz with 24-bit resolution, ensuring pristine audio fidelity. SoundGrid devices are connected via standard Ethernet cables, and the card supports Clock Sync-over-Ethernet (SoE) for precise digital splits and audio networking. Additionally, the WSG-HY128 is firmware-upgradable, allowing for future improvements and feature enhancements.
