The Yamaha DXS15XLF-D is a high-output powered 15" subwoofer designed to deliver deep, authoritative bass for demanding professional sound applications. Equipped with a robust 4" voice coil and a powerful 1600W Class-D amplifier, it produces up to 136 dB SPL with an extended 33 Hz–150 Hz frequency range. This makes it an ideal low-frequency foundation for live sound, touring, and high-impact installations where clarity and punch are critical.
Advanced DSP & Bass Management:
Driven by high-performance 96 kHz DSP, the DXS15XLF-D ensures high-definition audio with ultra-low latency. Yamaha’s onboard D-XSUB processing provides precise control over low frequencies, offering NORMAL, BOOST, and XTENDED LF modes to tailor bass response for different venues and musical styles. Cardioid mode support allows improved control of low-frequency directivity when using multiple subwoofers, reducing unwanted stage noise while focusing bass energy toward the audience.
Dante Connectivity & System Integration:
The DXS15XLF-D features integrated Dante I/O (2×2) with sample rate conversion, enabling seamless compatibility with 48 kHz Dante networks. This allows easy integration with Yamaha CL, QL, and TF digital mixing consoles as well as other Dante-enabled devices. Combined analog and Dante I/O provide flexible routing options, while compatibility with ProVisionaire Control and ProVisionaire Touch enables efficient remote system management in complex audio setups.
Road-Ready Enclosure Design:
Housed in a lightweight yet highly durable plywood cabinet, the DXS15XLF-D is finished in a professional Polyurea coating that offers excellent resistance to scratches, impacts, and harsh environmental conditions. The rugged enclosure, ergonomic aluminum handle, and optional wheel kit and padded cover make transport and setup easier while ensuring long-term reliability. Built for life on the road, this subwoofer maintains both performance and appearance show after show.
