The Yamaha SWR2100P-5G is a 5-port L2 network switch designed to deliver both power and data to PoE-compliant Dante devices, such as the PGM1 paging station microphone, through a single Ethernet cable. With ports 1–4 supporting PoE power and port 5 serving as an uplink, each PoE port can supply up to 30W (total 70W), reducing cable clutter while extending connection distances. This combination of power and network functionality enhances installation flexibility and allows devices to be placed more freely in both live and fixed audio setups.
The SWR2100P-5G integrates seamlessly with Yamaha’s LAN Monitor software, providing comprehensive network monitoring, PoE power status management, and remote ON/OFF control. Users can easily visualize how multiple switches and Dante devices are connected across the system, gaining a complete overview of the network topology. The snapshot function simplifies troubleshooting by tracking network status and alerting users if a cable is disconnected, a device is powered down, or a connection error occurs, ensuring reliable operation before and during performances.
Advanced features include enhanced device identification with Dante icons, custom device IDs, and the ability to add labels and comments, making it easier to recognize devices across complex installations. The SWR2100P-5G also supports collective monitoring and remote restarting of devices across a wide area; if a device becomes unresponsive, the switch automatically cycles PoE power to restore operation. These capabilities make it a dependable, professional-grade solution for managing Dante audio networks efficiently.
