The Yorkville PSA28 is a premium compact line array speaker with an integrated power amplifier, designed for both touring and installation applications. Lightweight and easy to transport, the PSA28 can be deployed in ground stack or flown configurations, offering high output and versatility in a rugged, IP54-rated enclosure suitable for indoor and outdoor use. With 1400 watts of peak power and neodymium drivers, it delivers professional-grade performance for demanding live sound environments.
The PSA28 incorporates Tom Danley’s patented Paraline Lens and Synergy Horn technologies, producing a precisely shaped wavefront that matches the horn’s physical coverage. The Paraline Lens provides a continuous horn throat between cabinets in the vertical plane, virtually eliminating comb filtering, while the Synergy Horn couples the high-frequency output seamlessly with the low-frequency drivers. This design maximizes efficiency and directivity across the entire front of the cabinet, ensuring consistent sound coverage for every listener.
Designed for easy setup and optimization, the PSA28 features switchable high-pass filtering, high-frequency boost, Nearfield mode, and bass compensation for use in vertical arrays. Additional professional features include onboard limiting, PowerCON TRUE1 input and pass-through connectors, a dual-angle 35 mm stand adapter, and flush-mounted hardware to protect rigging pins and links. These elements make the PSA28 a flexible, reliable, and high-performance solution for both touring and installed sound applications.
