LD Systems MAUI P900 SAT BAG, Padded Carry Bag For MAUI P900 Column

The LD Systems MAUI P900 SAT BAG is the padded carry bag made for the column sections of the MAUI P900. It is shaped to the column rather than generic: precision inserts follow the contours of the Porsche Design Studio profile, so the sections sit still instead of sliding against each other in transit.

The shell is 1680D nylon, abrasion resistant and water repellent, over 0.6 in (16 mm) of padding. That is enough to take the knocks a column collects going in and out of a vehicle, which is where almost all cosmetic damage to a P900 happens.

What it fits

The column elements of the MAUI P900 only. It does not take the subwoofer, which has its own padded slip cover, or the complete system, which needs the flightcase.

Why bother, on a system this expensive

The P900 is finished to a standard where marks show. The column is anodized aluminum with a multi-layer elastic front cover, and neither hides scuffs the way a textured plastic cabinet does. On a system at this price the bag pays for itself the first time it stops a knock.
