Description
The Shure SBC450 is a 4-bay networked docking station that charges up to 4 ULX-D ULXD6 boundary or ULXD8 gooseneck base transmitters running Shure rechargeable batteries, and lets you adjust and monitor them over Ethernet. A 15-minute charge gives 1 hour of use, 1 hour reaches 50% and 3 hours reaches 100%. This is the global SBC450 model, which ships without a power supply.
It suits any room that runs ULXD6 and ULXD8 transmitters: the transmitters sit in the dock between uses, and Wireless Workbench, SystemOn or an AMX or Crestron system can check batteries and change settings without anyone touching them. For a dock with the power supply in the box, choose the SBC450-US.

Does the SBC450 include a power supply?
No. Shure's SBC450 global model has no power supply, while the regional models such as the SBC450-US include one. You need a supply rated 15 V DC at up to 4.0 A, or buy the SBC450-US instead.
Which transmitters fit the SBC450?
The ULX-D ULXD8 gooseneck base and ULXD6 boundary transmitters, fitted with Shure rechargeable batteries. It is made only for those two transmitters; ULX-D handhelds and bodypacks use other Shure chargers.
What can I change from the network?
Mute button and mute LED behavior or brightness, the high-pass filter, RF power, power lock and the transmitter's initial state when it leaves the charger. Wireless Workbench also shows each battery's charge, time to full, health, cycle count and temperature.
What happens if the dock loses power?
Docked transmitters power off as well, and their batteries resume charging when power is restored.
SBC450 or SBC240?
They serve different systems. The SBC450 charges 4 ULX-D ULXD6 boundary or ULXD8 gooseneck base transmitters. The SBC240 is a 2-bay charger for Axient Digital SB910 and SB920 batteries and ADX1, ADX2 and ADX2FD transmitters, and up to 4 SBC240s can share one power supply.
