Handheld Transmitter with Beta 87A Capsule
The SLXD2+ handheld transmitter features a durable aluminum housing with a lightweight design that is comfortable to hold during performances. It includes an LCD screen that displays essential system information. The Beta 87A condenser microphone capsule supports sound pressure levels up to 140 dB and provides a smooth frequency response with a gradual presence boost and controlled proximity effect, making it ideal for vocal performances. Its supercardioid pickup pattern helps isolate the singer’s voice while reducing background noise. The interchangeable capsule design allows users to swap capsules based on their needs, with optional choices including the Beta 58A, SM58, and KSM8.
Transparent Digital Audio and Wireless Performance
SLX-D+ delivers clear 24-bit digital audio with more than 118 dB of dynamic range, ensuring accurate and detailed sound reproduction. It also offers an expanded tuning range of up to 138 MHz (depending on the region), allowing wider coverage and easier frequency coordination. The system supports up to 11 simultaneous wireless systems per 6 MHz TV band and up to 14 systems per 8 MHz TV band, making it suitable for multi-channel setups in professional audio environments.
Smart Control, Security, and Power Options
With ShowLink Ease technology, SLX-D+ receivers and transmitters communicate in real time using BLE, allowing engineers to remotely adjust transmitter frequency, RF power, and lock settings or perform firmware updates. The system integrates with Wireless Workbench desktop software and the mobile app for monitoring and control via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Built-in Digital Feedback Reduction (DFR) automatically detects and suppresses feedback using dynamic notch filters. For secure operation, the system includes AES-256 encryption. It can run up to 8 hours on two AA batteries, with optional SB903 lithium-ion rechargeable batteries offering precise runtime monitoring when used with compatible Shure charging accessories.
