Description
The Shure SBC80-903 (SBC80903) is an 8-bay charging station for Shure SB903 lithium-ion batteries, the rechargeable battery used in SLX-D and SLX-D+ wireless transmitters and receivers. It charges up to 8 SB903 batteries at once, reaches 50% in 1 hour and a full charge in 3 hours, and is sized to sit in a rackmount drawer. The US version (SBC80-903-US) ships with the PS60US power supply.
It is built for anyone running several SLX-D or SLX-D+ channels: churches, schools, theaters, corporate AV and rental inventories. Each bay has an LED that shows charging status and battery health, so a whole drawer of batteries can be checked at a glance before a show.

Which wireless systems use the SB903 battery?
Shure SLX-D and SLX-D+. The SB903 powers the SLXD1 and SLXD1+ bodypacks, the SLXD2 and SLXD2+ handhelds and the SLXD5+ portable receiver, among others, in place of 2 AA batteries.
How long does a full charge take?
3 hours for a full charge, and about 1 hour to reach 50%, with up to 8 batteries charging at the same time.
Does it mount in a rack?
It is designed to sit inside a rackmount drawer rather than bolt to the rails, which keeps the charger and batteries together in the same rack as the receivers.
Is the power supply included?
Yes. The US version, SBC80-903-US, includes the PS60US power supply.
SBC80-903, SBC203 or SBC10-903?
All three charge the SB903. The SBC80-903 charges 8 batteries at 625 mA each, full in 3 hours. The SBC203 is a 2-bay docking charger, also 625 mA, full in 2 hours 30 minutes, powered over USB. The SBC10-903 charges one battery at 220 mA from USB and takes 5 hours 30 minutes for a full charge.
