The Shure SLXD25+/58 portable handheld digital wireless system combines professional-grade wireless performance with the legendary SM58® cardioid dynamic microphone. Designed for on-camera cold shoe mounting and audio bag use, it is an excellent solution for videography, ENG, field production, and location sound applications. Delivering transparent 24-bit digital audio with a dynamic range greater than 118 dB, the system ensures clear, natural sound reproduction while maintaining reliable RF performance across a wide 138 MHz tuning range for greater geographical coverage.
Engineered for demanding wireless environments, the system supports up to 11 simultaneous systems in 6 MHz TV bands and up to 14 in 8 MHz bands. The SLXD5+ portable receiver features dual 1/8" outputs, including a headphone monitoring output and a switchable line/mic output for flexible connectivity. Automatic Setup ensures that once transmitters and receivers are linked, they remain connected even in the presence of RF interference. Multi-Mic Mode allows users to scan and sync multiple clean frequencies via IR, enabling monitoring of multiple sources from a single receiver using customizable front-panel controls.
With ShowLink Ease, transmitter parameters can be adjusted remotely over the air from the linked receiver, including frequency changes, power output adjustments, control locks, and firmware updates. The system can also be monitored and managed through Wireless Workbench desktop software or the WWB Mobile app via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Built-in Shure Digital Feedback Reducer software helps minimize unwanted feedback, while AES-256 encryption ensures secure audio transmission. Powered by two AA batteries or optional Shure SB903 Li-ion rechargeable batteries, the system offers up to 8 hours of operation (SLXD1+) or up to 5.5 hours (SLXD5+), all housed in a portable, ergonomic design with rugged metal construction.
