Description
The Teenage Engineering OP-XY (OPXY) is a portable sequencer, synthesizer and sampler built around a 16-track, 64-step sequencer. It plays 24 voices across 8 synth engines plus drum, multi and synth samplers, has a 2-octave keyboard, a built-in speaker and microphone, a multi-out jack for MIDI, CV and gate, sync or audio, and a rechargeable battery rated at about 16 hours.
Eight instrument tracks and eight auxiliary tracks share the sequencer, with 9 patterns per track, 99 scenes and 9 songs per project. The brain chord progression system handles transposition across tracks, and 24 punch-in effects, a pressure-sensitive pitch bend and a 6-axis motion sensor add live control.
