Description
The Shure SLXD15+/85M-G57 (SLXD15 Plus with WL185m) is a portable digital wireless lavalier system for videographers, ENG and field production, film and location sound. It pairs the SLXD5+ camera-mount receiver with the SLXD1+ bodypack transmitter and the low-profile WL185m cardioid lavalier, delivers 24-bit audio with 118 dB dynamic range, works up to 328 ft (100 m), and tunes across 470 to 608 MHz in the US G57 band.
The SLXD5+ receiver mounts on a camera cold shoe or rides in an audio bag, with two 1/8 in. (3.5 mm) outputs: a switchable mic/line feed for the camera, recorder or mixer, and a headphone monitor out. ShowLink Ease keeps the receiver and transmitter linked so frequency, gain and transmitter lock can be changed remotely, and Wireless Workbench desktop software or the WWB Mobile app can monitor and control the system over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Every SLX-D+ receiver also runs Shure's Digital Feedback Reducer, and Multi-Mic Mode syncs several transmitters over IR to one receiver.

Does it mount on a camera?
Yes. The SLXD5+ receiver is designed for on-camera cold shoe mounting, and the WA311 non-conductive cold shoe adapter is in the box. It also works in an audio bag.
Can I monitor audio from the receiver?
Yes. The SLXD5+ has a dedicated 1/8 in. headphone output alongside its switchable mic/line output.
How long do the batteries last?
Up to 8 hours in the SLXD1+ transmitter and up to 5.5 hours in the SLXD5+ receiver, on 2 AA batteries each. Both also take the optional Shure SB903 rechargeable battery, which charges in the SBC80-903 8-bay charger.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes. The SLX-D+ system works with the Wireless Workbench Mobile app over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, as well as Wireless Workbench desktop software, for RF monitoring and remote control of the transmitter through ShowLink Ease.
SLXD15+/85M or GLXD14+/85M?
Both use the same WL185m cardioid lavalier on a bodypack. The SLXD15+/85M is built for cameras: its SLXD5+ receiver is portable and battery powered, runs in the 470 to 608 MHz UHF band, and reaches 328 ft (100 m). The GLXD14+/85M is built for presenters: a GLXD4+ tabletop receiver with XLR and 1/4 in. outputs, 2.4 and 5.8 GHz dual-band operation, about 100 ft of line-of-sight range and a rechargeable battery rated up to 12 hours.
