It supports both dynamic and condenser microphones, with selectable +12 to +48 VDC phantom power for full compatibility. A wide tuning range of up to 138 MHz (region dependent) simplifies frequency coordination and ensures reliable performance, supporting up to 11 systems per 6 MHz band and 14 systems per 8 MHz band in dense RF conditions.

The SLXD3+ features ShowLink Ease for real-time, two-way communication with compatible receivers, allowing automatic synchronization and remote adjustment of settings like frequency, RF power, and control locks. It integrates seamlessly with Shure Wireless Workbench desktop software and the mobile app for centralized monitoring and control via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. For secure operation, it includes AES-256 encryption. Power options include up to 8 hours of use on two AA batteries or optional SB903 rechargeable batteries, with compatibility for Shure charging accessories for efficient workflow management.
