The Shure SLXD3+ plug-on wireless transmitter is designed to convert any XLR microphone or audio source for seamless integration with SLX-D+ wireless systems. It delivers transparent 24-bit digital audio with an impressive dynamic range of over 118 dB, ensuring clear and natural sound reproduction for professional recording and broadcast environments. The transmitter also provides +12–48 VDC phantom power, making it compatible with condenser microphones, while its patented locking mechanism ensures a secure and stable XLR connection during use.
Built for reliable wireless performance, the SLXD3+ features a wide 138 MHz tuning range that provides excellent geographical coverage and flexible frequency coordination. It supports up to 11 simultaneous systems in 6 MHz TV bands and up to 14 systems in 8 MHz TV bands, making it ideal for multi-microphone setups. Automatic Setup keeps transmitters and receivers connected even in challenging RF environments, while the system continuously manages interference and scans for clean frequencies to maintain stable and uninterrupted transmission.
With ShowLink Ease technology, key transmitter parameters can be adjusted remotely from the linked receiver, including frequency changes, power output levels, and transmitter control locks. Users can also monitor RF status and manage system settings through Wireless Workbench desktop software or the WWB Mobile app via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. AES-256 encryption ensures secure audio transmission, and the transmitter provides up to 8 hours of operation using two AA batteries or the optional Shure SB903 rechargeable battery, all housed in an ergonomic and durable plastic design built for dependable field use.
