The Shure SLXD2+/B58 (SLXD2+ B58, model SLXD2+/B58=-G57) is a digital handheld wireless microphone transmitter with a Beta 58A supercardioid dynamic capsule, for adding a vocal channel to an SLX-D+ receiver in a church, school, venue or band setup. It tunes 470 to 608 MHz (G57 band), delivers 24-bit digital audio with 118 dB dynamic range and 2.8 ms latency, and runs up to 8 hours on two AA batteries.
The Beta 58A capsule is designed for close-up vocals, with a brightened midrange and bass roll-off to control proximity effect, and its supercardioid pattern gives high gain before feedback and strong rejection of other sound sources. With ShowLink Ease, a linked SLX-D+ receiver can change the transmitter's frequency, power and control locks and update its firmware over the air, without anyone handling the microphone. This is the transmitter only: no receiver is included.

Does the SLXD2+/B58 include a receiver?
No. It is the handheld transmitter only. Pair it with a G57 SLX-D+ receiver such as the SLXD4+ single-channel or SLXD4D+ dual-channel receiver, or buy it as a complete SLXD24+/B58 system.
What does ShowLink Ease let me change remotely?
Frequency, RF power output and control locks, plus over-the-air firmware updates. Once linked, the transmitter follows the receiver's frequency changes, and you can also monitor and configure the system from Wireless Workbench or the WWB Mobile app.
Can I use rechargeable batteries?
Yes. The SLXD2+ runs on the optional Shure SB903 Li-ion battery, which gives more than 8 hours on a full charge and shows remaining runtime in hours and minutes on the transmitter display when used with Shure chargers such as the SBC10-903, SBC203 or SBC80-903.
How is the SLXD2+ different from the original SLXD2?
SLX-D+ receivers tune across 138 MHz, and only 44 MHz when they run legacy SLX-D transmitters, and the plus models add ShowLink Ease remote control. The original SLXD2/B58 in the G58 band covers 470 to 514 MHz; this SLXD2+/B58 covers 470 to 608 MHz.
Which other capsules does the SLXD2+ come with?
Shure also offers the SLXD2+ with an SM58 cardioid capsule, a Beta 87A, a Nexadyne 8/C and a KSM8, all in the same G57 band. Choose the Beta 58A for a supercardioid dynamic vocal sound with high gain before feedback.
